RAW Britain across the heart of England

Introduction

The British leg of the RAW Series, "the most extreme footrace series in the world"

RAW Britain is a 6 day endurance course covering 200 miles to challenge you both mentally and physically. The 2009 race takes you to the majestic and stunning landscape of the remote Scottish Highlands.

RAW Britain is limited to just 100 competitors

The Course

Start at Benavie (near to Fort william) by Netune's Staircase, the longest staircase canal locks in the UK.

The route covers the highest peaks and spectacular glens, fascinating archaeological sites, mysterious loch monsters and massive seabird colonies.

The lighthouse at Cape Wrath marks the finish line. This is the most North-westerly point of the Scottish mainland.

Price

RAW Britain 2009 Entry Fee: £695

Included in the price are:-

  • Accommodation for one night in a hotel
  • Drinking water at checkpoints (daily)
  • Accommodation in small Tents while on the Race route
  • Provision of showers and toilets at the race villages
  • Gala Dinner on 7th August
  • Finishers medal and t-shirt
